For all those living in Canada, Nokia announced that the device can makes its way to Rogers and TELUS. The news came from Nokia Canada Twitter account that shows a yellow Lumia 1020.

The device boasts a 4.5-inch Super AMOLED display with 720p resolution, dual-core Snapdragon S4 Plus processor clocked at 1.5GHz, 2GB RAM, 32GB internal storage and runs Windows Phone 8 on top of it. On the outside, the device brings massive 41MP camera and a 2.1MP front camera. On the connectivity side, the device features WiFi a/b/g/n, Bluetooth and GPS.

The Lumia 1020 combines the groundbreaking PureView Phase 1 and Phase 2 mobile camera technologies of Nokia for the first time. It matches a big 1/1.2” 41 MP sensor with optical image stabilization tech, and allows 3x lossless zoom without any moving parts in photo, and up to 6x in 720p video mode. The six-element lens ZEISS optics and Nokia's pixel binning technology add to the unrivaled picture and video quality that are more akin to a prosumer camera than to a humble mobile phone. Nokia didn't stop here, though, and equipped the Lumia 1020 with HAAC mics capable of high-fidelity stereo recording, for the ultimate media machine on the go.

Earlier, we saw a number of leaked images and rumors that mentions the launch of an alleged 6-inch phablet that is expected to launch by the end of September. The device is expected to come with quad-core processors, high resolution display and suggest the launch of the GDR3 update.
